Avocado

To celebrate being 6 months old we started Anna on solids this past week. First up was avocados! We have a video of her initial reaction but it's a long video and I don't feel like trying to figure out how to make it shorter so I'm not going to.

She seemed a little surprised and it seemed like she was considering getting upset but didn't. She made that confused face for the first few bites while she was trying to figure out what we were doing to her.

After a bit she began grabbing at the spoon and trying to "help" put it in her mouth. Obviously this lead to a pretty big mess.

Towards the end she was leaning in and opening her mouth for more so we feel she was pretty ready. Kevin and I only fought over whose turn it was to feed her for a little bit :)

Today we tried sweet potato and she seemed to really like it! She leaned in for pretty much every bite and was pretty happy doing so. It's so fun seeing her try new things and we're enjoying planning out what we're going to make for her next!
