My first post of 2018! February last year was hectic as that was the month we listed and sold our house. Kevin was gone for a week in there too and there were lots of last minute things we had to do to get ready. We still managed to have some fun though.
The week of Valentine's Day was the week Kevin was out of town at a conference. It was a bummer having him gone that week but we had some fun with just the girls. We had to do a little baking so we made cupcakes.
Letting Anna and Jane eat some batter is sort of a requirement at this point.
A couple of super heroes!
In Olathe one of the best sledding hills is right next to the Lowes. We needed something from the store anyway so Kevin loaded the girls up to go down a few times.
We enrolled both girls in dance last Spring and they loved it.
The cutest little ballerinas!
We met up with some friends and went to KidScape museum. They have an awesome area for kids to do all types of pretend play.
Jane and her pet poodle.
The Olathe Library held a Pinkalicious party to kickoff the new PBS kids television show. We didn't really need an excuse to wear pink but we definitely took advantage of the event to wear as much pink as possible.
Anna and Jane with their friend Riona.
Our last weekend before listing the house for sale was spent doing some last minute outdoor work. We had to clean up the garden bed and put some fresh mulch down. The girls were a big help.
They especially enjoyed digging around in the dirt.
I'm hoping to find some photos from when we first moved into this house and compare them with how the house looked when we put it up for sale. We put a lot of work into the house and all of our efforts really paid off.
