Our 4th of July was a little hectic this year. The wedding was just the night before and not only were we trying to help get ready for the yearly 4th party at Kevin's parents house, we were trying to get ready to leave for vacation the next day. (The vacation was planned before the wedding date was set). Once the party started though we had time to enjoy the holiday.
The girls had fun playing outside and looked adorable. I made these tutus for the girls and Anna was so excited about it. Then that day she refused to put it on even for a little bit. Got to love toddlers. Jane rocked hers for quite a while though.
Jane has definitely begun trying to insert herself into pretty much anything that looks fun. The girl wants what she wants.
My little cutie pie.
Jane had to go to bed well before dark and the fireworks. Once she was down for the night I brought out the glow sticks and Adell and Anna loved them. These two sure love each other.
Had trouble getting Anna to look at the camera for a good picture.
Last summer Anna was scared of the fireworks so we watched from the window. This year she was enamored with them. It was so fun seeing how excited she was. I'm so glad that Kevin's Mom and Dad live by the lake so we have such wonderful seats for the show every year!
The best we could get with the three of us.
A busy and tiring 4th but a really fun day. We had to stay up pretty late that night to help clean up from the party and get the car loaded so we could leave early the next morning. That part was not so fun but we were looking forward to our week in Colorado!
