Back in June Anna went to Lego Land with Sparkly Grandma and Grandpa and had been talking about it all the time since then. She kept telling us that she wanted to take us because she knew all about it and she could show us around. We had a free Saturday and we decided we'd surprise the girls and go. If only we'd been recording the moment when we told the girls. Anna was so happy that she started to cry. It was awesome.
Being Saturday it was incredibly busy and it was a bit overwhelming at times but the girls had so much fun.
Anna's favorite thing to show us was the 4D movies they had playing. They were short films, maybe 10-15 minutes each and we watched a couple of them. A definite hit!
One of Kevin's favorite parts was the giant lego blocks. Both Anna and Jane took a turn having a tower built around them.
It was a fun day and Anna wants to go back. Kevin and I want to wait a while before re-visiting and it will be on a weekday. We're happy we went though and we made some great memories.
