Brian and Moria continued....

Here are a few more photos from our weekend with Brian and Moria. We actually managed to take a few pictures without a baby in it!
Enjoying the last bit of summer!
I'm not sure why this picture of Kevin and Brian has them holding the Monopoly game but at least I managed a picture of the two!
For dinner we headed out to 'Oklahoma Joe's' for some BBQ. There was a long line and I ended up taking Anna outside to walk around for a bit but it was worth the wait. It was actually Brian's birthday that day and it was so great being able to celebrate with him on the actual day once again!
Moria and Brian!
With two little girls to get to bed we couldn't exactly hit the town to finish celebrating but we managed to have a good time anyway. Brian convinced us that if you played by the actual Monopoly rules that the game only takes an hour. (One of those being no cash for landing on Free Parking). We decided to give it a go and pulled out the game along with a bottle of Ridge wine that Brian and Moria had given to us almost two years ago. (Ridge is a favorite winery of theirs and we had been saving it for a special occasion....it was delightful!)

The game definitely took longer than an hour. (Brian says we deviated from the rules with crazy trades and that is why)
A pretty crazy night ;)
The next day we packed up and headed to Topeka to meet up with both our families and show Brian and Moria around where we grew up. Our first stop was at the Kent house for lunch. Patti made a wonderful lunch for us and it was great having friends join us for Sunday dinner. I'm mad at myself for not taking any pictures while we were over there but we had a great time.

It was Anna's nap time and we wanted to show these guys around Topeka. Kevin's parents were kind enough to take Jane for a few hours so we could have a little freedom to show them around. Our first stop was Washburn. We lucked out and the science building was unlocked so we were able to get into the building to show them around. On the Chemistry floor there were still a couple of Kevin's posters up which was fun for us to see.
Brian, Moria, and Kevin at Stoffer!
After visiting Washburn we drove by each of our high schools and pointed out things along the way. I didn't realize how much fun it would be just driving by and sharing stories about various places around town.

After picking up the girls we were then headed over to the Copp house for dinner. Neither of my parents had actually met Brian and Moria before so it was fun getting to introduce them. I think they had fun finally meeting in the flesh after hearing so many stories over the years. Hailie and Brian share a birthday so it was also a mini celebration for the two with a cake. Moria's birthday is the week after so we went ahead and made her blow out candles too.
Anna wasn't sure about all the candles...
I just really like this picture of Jane so I had to throw it in. It sure is hard being so cute....
It was getting late and an early flight the next morning so we had to get ready to head back to Olathe. While Anna was getting a bath Moria did have a chance to give a bottle to Jane.

Brian and Moria's flight was pretty early the next morning so we pretty much said our goodbyes that night. It was such a fantastic weekend but it went by way too quickly. We're not sure when the next time we will get to meet up with these two so we made sure to enjoy every second. Thank you guys for coming to visit us!!!
