Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was busy but we had a lot of fun. On Saturday evening we went over to Thomas and Serena's house to celebrate. Dinner, Easter baskets, and of course an Easter Egg Hunt!

And they're off!

It's always makes me so happy to see the excitement that a bunch of eggs hidden in plain site can bring a child.

Easter morning the girls were excited to see what the Easter Bunny left for them.

That afternoon we drove to the farm for the Copp celebration.

Grandmom peeking on all the kids during the egg hunt!

Found one!

It's always been a tradition to take a picture of all the grandkids and now the great-grandkids on the steps. There were so many cute ones that it was difficult for me to choose a favorite.

This one cracks me up. Emily doesn't not look sure about the situation. Then there is Jacob's face and Micah screaming. Anna inspecting the baby and Jane making an odd expression. It's gold I tell you. Gold.

We had to get one of Hailie and Seth too. All the great-grandkids that were there are in this photo!

Jane inspecting her prizes.

After Auburn we went over to my parents house. Another round of Easter baskets!

I'd planned to dye eggs earlier in the week but I'd only managed to hard boil the eggs. We brought them with us though and went ahead and dyed them. Better late than never.

Both Anna and Jane were very into the process this year.

It was a lovely Easter spent with lots of family. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend.
